After adventures and success on the high seas, their growing wealth is noticed and a gang threatens the village. The government won’t help so he leads a fight for freedom and safety. In the fight the bright, brave young woman who became his wife is killed. Mourning her loss, he dedicates himself to improving the lives of his fellow villagers and the people of his poverty stricken land.
